About The Cloud Library Collective
We think a good book shouldn't sit unread on a shelf when a neighbour would love to read it.
How it started
It started with a handful of neighbours swapping books at a Saturday hub, and grew from there.
Who runs it
The library is run by a small group of volunteers, on our own time, for no pay.
An admin decides what a shared book is worth from its photos, approves new members, and helps sort out a hand-over that goes wrong. Anyone active can ask to join as an admin too.
Where to find us
Books change hands at the hub, or directly between two members if that's easier.
What we stand for
- Non-profit. We don't take money, run ads or sell anything. See our Terms of Service.
- Trust, with a safety net. An admin values every book, and hand-overs are confirmed with a code you both see.
- Your data stays small. We collect only what's needed to run the library. See our Privacy Policy.
